Did you know fear is stored in our bodies?
I know it sounds weird but it’s true. Our bodies can hold all kinds of emotions and trap them inside us. Knowing this helps us understand the messages we physically receive from ourselves. It’s also good news because it means we have another avenue to care for ourselves when the mental approach isn’t working.
If you have ever felt a “stress ball” in your shoulders, a tension knot in your back, or an uneasy stomach due to your emotions you know what I’m talking about. If you have ever done a physical activity that has caused you to feel emotionally overwhelmed during or after, you have experienced the sensation of an emotional unlock from physical assistance.
